Looking at these few websites, i found many different things that were interesting. I first found out that chimps and people are 98 percent the same. Then, did you know that people have only 46 chromosomes, while goldfish have 94 chromosomes and toucans have 106 chromosomes. Also, we have two copies of every chromosome in our body. Lastly, i found that chimpanzees and other great apes are out closet evolutionary cousins. But you didn't know that chimpanzees have 48 chromosomes and we have 46. Only a two chromosome difference. I found that fact the most interesting fact of all. After I figured all those facts out, i looked on Brain Pop, and found that there are two types of cells; Proaryotic and Eukaryotic. Proaryotic cell has no membrane and can live on its own. Then, the Eukaryotic cell has everything including a nucleus. And we humans are made up of those two types of cells. Now, after learning about these facts i learned many different things and found them very unique.
